So our best summer ever started as school ended mid June for the girls. Dentist appointments kept us from traveling immediately to the "house of Mouse" city of fun. We made plans to go back to Orlando for a few days as soon as school ended for the year. We had been looking forward to this trip since March when we upgraded our Sea World tickets to an annual pass during a quick spring break get a way. Lexi, Chey, and I flew into Florida a day prior to Ron and settled into a beautiful resort with fabulous pools, amenities, and accommodations. It had been a long time since any of us had just relaxed around the pool and let the days slip away.
We visited Richard and Jennifer and their kids that week and they visited us also. It was great to spend time with family and catch up.
We spent a day on Daytona Beach, one of our favorite beaches, where Sarah made Chey into a mermaid. We also had a memorable day at Sea World where we will never forget petting the man-o-rays and seeing Shamu again. Lexi and I giggled non stop as we launched giant water blasts toward the unassuming passengers on the flume ride of Atlantis. We started this as we waited for Ron and Chey as our intended targets, and ended up helping lot of other folks soak their families too! What a blast!
